This media converter contains high speed of dynamic RAM. It is equipped with the store-and- forward method to assign and intergrate the store-and-forward with the dynamic RAM. This media converter using the flow control (802.3x) to assure when Transmitting and receiving data in the node is under control, and prevent the data being lost. It automatically detects everyone facility's status, and configures the speed and the working mode. |

- Please make sure there is a suitable working environment and sufficient of space before you are installing this media converter. And please be caution with the follws:
- Power : 100-240 AC, power socket and equipment should be within 1.8m.
- The environment required dryness and aeration.
- Please be sure that the space is enough for heat- away.
- Please do not put any heavy item onto the media converter.
- This media converter is used with net manageable rack media converter facilities or equipments. If it uses interal power(otherwise it uses and external power), then it will be able to exchange with the panel of non-net manageable rack media converter. |
| TX/FX port connection and installation |

- Lies this media converter horizontally on the table. There is a good air condition surrounding this machine.
- Using single mode media converter intercross connects with rack mode media converter. (It only works by intercross connection)
- After assure the right connection, turn on the power, and using the indicated light to recheck the connection.
- Connectin TP port with other machines' TP ports. |
