Front Panel Intructions

There are 16 slots on the front panel of the rack chassis. The first slot is for
the management module and the other slots are for media coverter module.
The LED indicators are on each module.

Back Panel Instructions

There is a power socket and a power switch on the rear panel of the rack
mode media converter for easy operation.

Chapter Two Installation

Attention
	- Power DC-48V The power plug socket distance is required less than 1.8 - The Chassis must work in dry and ventilated surroundings. It need 10cm distance from other goods. - It need good ventilated equipment to avoid heating - Not put heavy goods on it. - System is Windows XP or Windows 200/2003, IE is IE6.0 or newer. - You may manage all the modules if power were interrupted. - The plugged in module cards must match with the chassis size and specifications, or can't manage.
TX/FX port connection and installation
	- Lay Chassis on desk and sure good ventilated surroundings when installation. - Plug the management module in the first slot and other 15PCS Media Converter modules in other slots. - Connect Rack Media Converters with remote Media converter units with Fiber Optic Patch Cord. - Connect PC networking port with Management module port with cross network cable. - Turn on the power and check chassis media converter working condition base LEDs. - If one PC manages several Rack Chassis, it need PC connects Switch firstly, then Switch ports connect with the several Rack Chassis. The each Rack Chassis need a difference IP address.
Setting
	Firstly set the IP address for the rack chassis, the PC is required an IP address and subnet Mask as per figure 2.1.(The IP address and the Subnet mask should be designated, it should not be assigned automatically. The gateway of the PC and rack chassis must be same, other configuration can be default). Open IE and input IP address linke: http://192.168.0.100/top.htm.press enter to logon page like figure 2.2. (Note:the default of IP address of rack chassis is 192.168.0.100,)
